This restaurant was recommended by a friend. In late September on a Saturday night, we made our first visit. It seemed a bit slow in food delivery but the patio was lovely and the food, although very different, was good. We made a reservation for...ourselves and a friend for Saturday, September 28th at 6. When we arrived, we were told that the reservation was for 6:15 and made to wait in the bar area until 6:20. when we complained to the manager nd were finally seated in the dining area. It took a long time to get a glass of wine and menus. We were able to order about 6;30 and chose items which were simple and shareable: bread, scallops, a vegetable plate and a salad. Only the wine was delivered and we waited until 7 before inquiring about our order. The waiter was not helpful and could not tell us when it would be out. As we were attending the symphony, we needed to leave by 7:40. At 7:15, our bread finally arrived but nothing else. We asked again and reminded the waiter about our departure time. Again, no appropriate response. My partner finally found the manager at 7:25, told him we would be leaving as we couldn't wait any longer and had no time to enjoy our meal anyway. He apologized and gifted us with the bread and a glass of wine but it was too late. We have never waited over an hour for food with no explanation nor apology and were extremely upset about leaving for the symphony without food. The lack of attention on the server's part was unacceptable as he should have come to the table with an explanation and brought at least the bread sooner. The manager must be in touch with staff and the timing of orders. We will not be back.
