I visited this weekend for brunch. I was looking forward to ordering their waffles as I have had them before and they were delicious. However, when we arrived, we were told they had “sold out” of waffles. I don’t understand how a bakery can “sell...out” of waffles. It would make more sense if it were something that is more complicated to make quickly like scones or quiche, but waffles are just batter in a waffle iron. We came at 12pm, and they serve breakfast until 2pm so for at least 2 hours they didn’t have one of the main items on the menu. I ordered the French toast instead which was ok. Certainly not bad, but nothing incredible either. I probably won’t be back again. This visit was very disappointing.
