This was my first visit to Sambol, The restaurant decor is charming with simple wall hangings of Sri Lankan landscapes, and wildlife. The server was extremely friendly and warm, and the food was mildly spicy however the flavors were balanced. The quality and the presentation...was pleasing and the portion sizes were enough to feed two diners. I will certainly come back to Sambol next time I am in Edmonton to enjoy an authentic Sri Lankan meal.
