I've been going to this place on and off for the past five years after being introduced to it. We came on a Monday evening and it wasn't too busy. However, the place felt different. The sushi chefs didn't do their usual goodbyes in Japanese...as customers left, and the atmosphere was different. We ordered the spicy salmon combo and the spicy salmon was so small! I was surprised at how it changed over the years. I think there has been a change in management. We also ordered our usual Nanaimo Roll and it was so small it was laughable. The plate they used to use, the roll would cover around 70% of the plate. Now, the roll is like 50%. See the photos. Miniature bites. On the plus side, the service was good in that they refilled tea regularly, it was a clean restaurant; and the flavours were there as we remembered. However, the price and the portion is too small that it's comparable to other places in Vancouver/Burnaby. Unfortunately I will not be back here again.
