Atmosphere: Dimly lit with lots of Caribbean-themed decor, this is a comfortable place to relax with friends. My friend and I sat on their patio on a sunny day and enjoyed the people-watching on Commercial Drive. Food: Absolutely to my taste. The vegetarian options were...plentiful and the flavors were great! I had jerk tofu and ital (cooked curry-style veggies) wrapped in roti, and a jerk tofu Jamaican patty with their fantastic hot sauce. Enjoyed all of it thoroughly! Drinks: Looong drink menu with wine, beer, cocktails and anything else you could want. Service: This was the best part of the whole experience. Brenda, our server, was on top of everything. Service was quick, she is definitely a gem! Friendly, genuine and hilarious, we ended up chatting with her whenever she had a few minutes to spare, and my friend and I couldn't stop raving about her to each other haha. She makes you feel totally welcomed! Overall: Although I'm living a few hours from Vancouver right now, this place will be going on my list of favorite Vancouver restaurants and I'll definitely be back next time I visit! If I move there as I'm hoping to in the summer, I can see myself passing a lot of evenings chilling out in this place.
