If your looking for an authentic Middle Eastern restaurant, where your Shawarma is freshly shaved off a rotisserie, you will have to look elsewhere. This is more of a cafe that casually serves some food. Most of the food is pre made and served when...ordered. The have a smattering of desserts in a glass display, Shawarma and Middle Eastern Wrap options. I ordered a Chicken Shawarma plate. It came with Hummus, Tzatziki and a choice of Salad. The meal was nicely plated and was presented well. Unfortunately, the food didn’t taste as authentic as I expected. The Chicken Shawarma was pre made and mixed with a broth and was very bland in taste. The Rice was also bland. The Hummus and Tzatziki were ok. The Pita was not freshly made, it was pre packaged and warmed on a portable grill (Some authentic Middle Eastern restaurants make Pita fresh from scratch, when ordered). The Fattouch Salad was the only thing that tasted authentic. Considering all the comments on how “authentic” and “good” this restaurant was, I was disappointed. My only guess is that the people commenting haven’t actually experienced a true Middle Eastern restaurant, so they have nothing to compare it to. The cafe inside is cozy. There is limited parking on the street. Food was average. Service was ok. Prices were quite reasonable.
