My wife and I were staying at the Georgian Court in downtown Vancouver for three nights and eating out all the time so burning through a lot of money. I Googled “Cheap breakfast in downtown Vancouver” and found the Pita Wrap Cafe on Dunsmuir, read...some reviews and decided to check it out as it was only a few blocks from our hotel. This is really just a regular small pita place but it looked clean and the staff were friendly so we gave it a shot. For $5 each we had two orders of eggs any style, bacon, sausage or ham, fried potatoes and toast all served in a fast friendly way in a clean environment. Frankie’s restaurant at our hotel wanted $26. I need to say there is quite a bit of difference in the ambiance between these two places but we were just wanting a good inexpensive breakfast and get on our way having fun in Vancouver. We also had dinner at Frankie’s and that was excellent but not at all in the same price range. Check this out – cheap can be good and these folks prove that.
