Your smile is wiped off your face right upon arrival- you are asked not only to pay upfront, but to give tips as well (“I have to feed my family “ we were told by the host). Wow! You, guys, certainly take the biscuit hospitality-wise!...Savouries leave very much to be desired- thick slices of bread and not very “ savoury” in general. Lovely TWG tea, but from bags- not your traditional loose leaf tea. Beautiful tea service and interior of the tea room. Our server Pedro was very attentive and well trained!( we left him a handsome tip!) Notice to manager- tell you host NOT to demand tips before being served; when Customers are satisfied they’ll find a way to tip your staff even in the strictest Covid conditions. And do improve your savouries!More
