We happened to be walking down the Drive on a Friday evening when we spied this small and unassuming restaurant. As lovers of Central and South American food, we ventured inside for dinner. The restaurant was busy with a high percentage of Latino customers –...yes, always a good sign. We ordered a selection of dishes to share as we were curious to taste what was on offer. We ordered the pupusas (various flavours), pulled pork tacos and quesadilla. Then had to try the margaritas – an excellent decision, it turned out. And to finish – authentic flan – delicious! It was agreed, we thoroughly enjoyed the food , the music and the atmosphere….. and, incidentally, the prices. The service was not great but we weren’t in a hurry and the food more than made up for it. And the servers were happy to let us practice our Spanish too!More
