This was my second visit to Tocador and the two visits could not be any different. My first visit was in 2017 when it first opened and the place was buzzing. It was on a Monday night with live music - the tables were full,...the happy hour drinks and food were plentiful and delicious, and the music was amazing! The most recent visit was in September and it could not be any different - it was quiet (only 3 tables were occupied) and the live music had not yet begun. The happy hour offerings was a fraction of what was available 2 years ago - only 4 food items and 3 drink specials were on the menu. Nevertheless, the food was amazing- especially the crispy chickpeas which are out of this world, they should be sold in stores. We like them so much that we ordered them twice! The chicken wings and veggies and bean dip were good, but pale in comparison to the chick peas. Combined with a Hotel Nacional cocktail and my evening was complete. Other than the disappointing slow atmosphere, Tocador may be worth a repeat visit, if only for the crispy chickpeas.
