Connie’s Cookhouse became a quick favorite from the moment we discovered it on Kitsilano’s 4th Ave, just west of Arbutus and a few doors away from Lululemon. I generally was happy to be the family cook and most commonly had a meal prepared for our...family of three most nights, but there were those times were time got away from us and we needed a tasty and nutritious take-out option. When that happened someone called out how about Connie’s, and the suggestion got immediate approval from the rest of the household. The dishes are mostly Cantonese cuisine. The portions are generous and the menu is extensive. It has a liquor license and is open for lunch and dinner. While it is a takeout hub it is also a good place for lunch and dinner as one is always welcomed and given good service.
