Myself and 2 friends decided to go for a few drinks and dinner at this establishment at 8 pm of a friday night. Our first sign that it was a bad idea should have been that the hostess who looked miserable. We were seated quickly...and given menu's. Our server arrived and gave us an overview of the specials and took our drink order; that was fast and efficent. We ordered an appetizer and 3 salads. After noticing a table that was seated after us had their appetizer and main dishes, we questioned where our food was. We got the usual " oh I'll go check"; 10 minutes later the server came back and said it would be out in 6 - 8 minutes. I asked if there was a problem and he said " we're very busy tonight and short staffed", only about 50% of the tables were full. We wait another 15 minutes, our appetizer and 1 meal, which was wrong, were served with a "the other food is coming right up". I then called the manager over and explained the situation and his response was "I'm very sorry, how would you like me to fix this?" Normally it wouldn't be up to the customer to decide this. Our other 2 salads were served incorrectly and everything was sent back. We received a bill for our drinks only, paid and went across the street to Roxy Burgers. Don't waste your time with Speakeasy on Granville!More
