I am not a frequent dinner at this restaurant as I live 3 hours away. I come here just about half dozen time in the past 10 years. Two weeks ago, I had a day trip to Calgary and had lunch at Sun's. It was...a pleasant surprise. I ordered BBQ pork and roast pork platter and Singapore noodle to share with my partner. The pork platter was really superb. The bbq pork was lean but very tender, juicy and flavorful (a little on the salty side). The roast pork was even better: crispy skin, flavorful meat and even distribution of lean meat and fat on every piece. I haven't had such good Chinese bbq for a very long time. When compared with the bbq meat, the Singapore noodle was a let down in flavor but the serving is generous. The place is relatively clean and service is just average. It is worthwhile to try this restaurant if you are in this area.
