I've always loved Vij's for its amazing food & atmosphere. However, one visit to Vancouver I was wandering and tired, after a busy day and already full meal elsewhere, and by serendipity I arrived at Vij's Cambie location (without knowing it had moved there). I...ordered a chai to go - knowing it would perk me up. And did it ever! Not only was I shown equal respect to all the other diners there (despite my small order), but the waiter graciously gave it to me for free with a big smile and warm heart. May good karma continue to flow there in return, and may we always experience the kind love of Mother India! Thinking of India now, in its time of need.
