My stop at this location of La Taqueria was only my 2nd in-dine visit at any restaurnt since the COVID restrictions had been lifted. I went with my daughter hoping it would be a quick meal, but it was far from being quick. La Taqueria...is set up to order/pay first, take a number, and the food is brought to your table. This hasn't changed. But the difference is they have less staff (understandably) so the the bartender is the order taker, which meant that even though there was only 3 groups in front of us to order, it probably took about 20 minutes to get there. After each order, the bartender had to fill all of the drink orders. He was working hard, but it was clear his role was gating everything else. Once we sat down, the food probably came out in 5 minutes. We ordered the cachete taco, lengua taco and an order of nachos. All food continues to be good. Overall, it was an OK visit. Due to health requirements, food service really seems to be going a slower pace because of all the cleaning, and less service staff being maintained because of the lack of sales from the past few months. It didn't really make for a great experience. Might be better if you called in your order first.
