Tucked away on the main floor of an office building located across the street from the iconic Audreys’ Books resides a hidden gem of a Izakaya called Let’s Grill. My wife and I stumbled on it while attending a festival in the area and decided...to give it a try. Wow ... just wow. Not the usual suspects we are used to seeing on a sushi menu - although there are some traditional favourites (tuna, salmon and hamachi sashimi, a few familiar rolls). We tried items that we don’t normally order - grilled squid, specialty rolls (crunchy spicy salmon and soy paper tnt) as well as mixed sashimi. Maybe for the first time ever I did not use much soy/wasabi drip ... the flavours did not need the extra boost. We will be back soon to explore more of this very interesting menu.
