We were looking for a good place for pasta that was close to our work. Found Marcello’s deep in the middle of Little Italy on Commercial drive. What could go wrong? ... nothing! We got there just before 12:00 and it was starting to get...busy. Lots of reserved tables so a good sign! There were so many options and decided on the Pastacciati Gnocchi and it was exactly the way I wanted it. Gnocchi on point and perfectly cooked. The sauce was a creamy tomato meat sauce and tasted amazing! Sooo good :) We also had Spaghetti alla bolognese. It was very tasty and well seasoned. Good balance of acidity and heartiness. One small concern as there was a touch too much sauce/meat with not enough noodles... or maybe that’s more on us?!? A great dining experience and we’ll definitely be back.
