Locavore Lunches: Timeless Cafe

For over 20 years now, Timeless Materials Co. has been diverting building timber, materials, furniture and architectural items from the local landfill by reclaiming and re-purposing them. Last summer, The Timeless Cafe & Bakery took repurposing to a new level by opening their café in the original hen-house on the century-old farm homestead Timeless Materials Co. calls home. The hen-house was beautifully restored by café owners Jim and Lesley Brickman – they have turned the space into a cosy cafe filled with local artwork and fixtures (many are made of reclaimed materials from next door) and gorgeous wood beams, floors and tables.
