I grew up on an organic beef farm in Wilmot Township and learned how to raise calves as a child. From early on our family took a homeopathic approach, listening to our bodies and taking preventative measures to deal with our health and that of the animals. My whole family is very active and healthy, with sports playing a key role in our lives. I went off to study business at the University of Western Ontario. But I continued to come home every summer because I love the farm so much. I guess I’m a farm girl through and through! I am very passionate about what this farming philosophy can do for a community. Now that I have a business background I hope to be able to apply some of my ‘book learning’ to our farm business. I am very excited about the future of ‘Vibrant Farms’ and invite you to learn more about our beef, our farm and our philosophy.

Farming...The New Fashion Accessory?

Farming...The New Fashion Accessory? Just for a moment imagine a world where being associated with a farm is the COOL thing to do, just like owning a cottage, or having a small pint-sized dog that fits in a bag (just like Paris Hilton). Let me paint you a picture, as a few...
